Habinteg publishes Forecast for accessible homes 2025

To coincide with Accessible Homes Week, Habinteg Housing Association has released new research findings that provide a forecast for accessible homes and make the link to accessible housing in local plans for the next 10 years.

A decade after new accessible housing standards, Habinteg’s report analyses 311 English plans, estimating future delivery and exposing stark regional disparities. Lived experience stories highlight how limited accessible housing impacts disabled people’s independence.
