HLINks Weekly: 23 March 2026
Last week saw the launch of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Housing and Care for Older People’s latest Inquiry report, Creating Intergenerational Communities. It shines a spotlight on how housing and place can support stronger connections and mutual support across generations. As Secretariat and authors of the report, Housing LIN is proud to have supported this important work and look forward to exploring its key findings further at our upcoming HAPPI Hour webinar, and beyond.
Alongside this, we’re marking Disabled Access Day 2026, highlighting the importance of accessible and inclusive homes, and sharing new research and policy updates shaping the housing, health and social care landscape. From neighbourhood health reform and the role of Good Home Hubs, to challenges around home adaptations in Wales, this week’s edition brings together the latest thinking and evidence from across the sector.
In this week’s newsletter:
- APPG Inquiry report on creating intergenerational communities
- A year of the Good Home Hub in Lincolnshire from Ageing Better
- New Neighbourhood Health Framework from DHSC
- Report on delays to home adaptations in Wales
- Coming Home Guide for Local Authorities and Coming Home Leads, Scotland
- Guest blog reflecting on the Amar Bari, Amar Jibon launch
- And what else caught our interest, including supported housing, intergenerational living, AI and ageing, housing inequality, and social care reform
