Government publishes advice for social care practitioners in event of No Deal Brexit

EU Exit Letter to Adult Social Care Providers cover

The Department of Health and Social Care has provided guidance for adult social care practitioners in the event of a “no-deal” Brexit.

While stressing that a no-deal Brexit is not government policy the guidance makes clear that the sector needs to be ready for whatever happens after the 29th March 2019.

The letter outlines some of the key areas where providers should focus plans including workforce, supply of medicines and consumables, and supply of non-clinical consumables good and services.

Don’t forget we want to know how you think Brexit will affect the housing with care sector. Our survey is open until Friday 11th January.
