Future Leaders Programme – 2025/26 Cohort Announced
We are pleased to announce that the next cohort of our Future Leaders Programme has been selected, and the programme will officially commence later this week. We are excited to welcome this new group of emerging leaders and look forward to meeting them in person at the opening session in London, where we will formally kick off what promises to be another inspiring year of learning and development!
We are grateful to SNG (Sovereign Network Group) for sponsoring this year’s cohort. As a social housing provider with a strong commitment to community impact and leadership development, SNG is an ideal partner to help us deliver this programme. Their values align closely with our mission to empower the next generation of leaders through authentic, experience-driven learning.
Jeremy Porteus, founder and CEO of the Housing LIN, said:
“Now in its fifth year, I am proud that our Future Leaders Programme has quickly gained recognition as a leading programme for younger professionals across housing, health and social care in the UK. As a result, we were inundated with quality applications, demonstrating the hidden early career talent in our sector. I look forward to welcoming the new group as we commence our exciting year-long programme supported by SNG”.
Sarah Mitton, Head of Customer Engagement at SNG, added:
“SNG are really pleased to be sponsoring and supporting the 2025-26 Housing LIN Future Leaders Programme. We have recruited a passionate and diverse cohort of young architects, health professionals and people working in Housing who will come together to learn about leadership approaches from experts across the sectors. I am excited to see how the group collaborate and share ideas on how we build leaders who will tackle the societal challenges of the future! I know there is lots we can all learn about impactful leadership.”
Throughout the year, participants will engage in a series of in-person and online sessions, where they will gain valuable insights from senior industry leaders. Each session will explore the invited guests’ own personal journeys, who or what influenced them, challenges they have faced, and the unique leadership qualities they have developed along the way. The programme encourages open dialogue, peer learning, and reflection, and concludes with each participant contributing a blog to share their key insights and takeaways.
As we follow the journey of our 2025 cohort, we will share updates both here as well as on LinkedIn and Bluesky. Be sure to follow along to see how the group grows and what they achieve together!
In the meantime, read the blog posts below from previous Future Leaders participants, reflecting on the programme and showcasing what they learned.
