Everon Group showcased the power of fully cloud-based care technology with the launch of two innovative solutions at this year’s ITEC Conference on the 16th -17th March.

Everon Group introduced two new additions to its Ecosystem: Sonixx and Night Owl. Together, they strengthen the company’s cloud-connected platform, enabling providers to move beyond traditional alarm systems towards intelligent, preventative models of care.

The announcement marks a significant step in Everon Group’s growth strategy, building on its experience delivering fully digital, wireless, cloud-based solutions across supported housing and sheltered accommodation. As the UK approaches the analogue to digital switchover in January 2027, Everon is extending its expertise into new markets including care homes, supporting providers with future-ready technology designed for modern care environments.

Sonixx supports Everon’s expansion into the care home sector. Designed specifically to help care home providers transition to fully digital, cloud-connected care environments, the platform provides integrated care management capabilities that move teams beyond reactive alarm handling towards preventative, insight-led care.

The company’s new care home system is designed around the needs of residents and carers, rather than buildings, providing rapid, minimally disruptive installation and a fully digital, future-proofed platform ahead of the UK’s analogue to digital switchover in 2027.

Additionally, Everon debuted Night Owl, a discreet digital visual care system that uses AI and infra-red imaging to monitor key events such as falls, bed or chair occupancy and room exits. Alerts are sent directly to care teams via the Everon Mobile App (EMA), reducing the need for intermediary alarm handling while safeguarding resident privacy through automatic pixelation. Night Owl forms part of Everon’s wider digital Ecosystem and can be deployed across a range of care and assisted living environments.

All hardware in the Everon Ecosystem connects to the Lyra portal, a central dashboard that gives teams a comprehensive view of behaviours to draw meaningful insights. Lyra monitors for day-to-day changes and runs tailored reports, meaning that trends can pinpoint changes before they become risks.

Peter Kerly, Managing Director at Everon UK, said:

“ITEC provides a brilliant opportunity to demonstrate how Everon is evolving and pushing the industry to think beyond traditional telecare. Our expansion into care homes with the launch of Sonixx marks a significant step forward in delivering fully digital, cloud-connected care environments that enable providers to move from reactive alarm handling to more preventative, insight-led care. Alongside this, the introduction of Night Owl further strengthens our connected Ecosystem, giving housing associations and landlords greater visibility of key events while protecting resident privacy.”

The expansion into care homes follows recent contract wins with leading housing providers, including Clarion Housing Group, Progress Housing Group and Home Group.
