A new Commission, chaired by Lord Best, is inviting interested parties to bring forward evidence of what works in making cities healthier, where possible, demonstrating the cost-benefits of such interventions.

Led by the Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation at Kellogg College, Oxford, the Commission will be looking at the research evidence. However, they also welcome input from those with direct experiences as practitioners and citizens/users of services around the following 4 themes:

  1. Governance and decision-making processes
  2. The built environment, design and placemaking (housing, planning, and urban design and regeneration)
  3. Transport and movement, infrastructure, and technology (e.g. smart cities)
  4. Health and wellbeing (e.g. public health, social prescribing, food and exercise, health creation)

If you would like make a submission, complete the questionnaire below by 31 August.
