Chuka Umunna gives speech on need for bridging the generation gap

Chuka Umunna MP delivered a speech about the need to bridge the generational divide at Inside Government's conference.

Claiming that "Brexit was the symptom, not the cause" of a widening divide between generations in the UK, the chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Social Integration offered his view on what needs to be done to repair the generational rift.

The Social Integration APPG is expected to publish its interim report on intergenerational fairness by the end of February, and the Housing LIN will be reporting on this when it happens.

The Housing LIN submitted a written response to inquiry and we will be publishing this alongside the report.
