The Government has published its new COVID-19 Winter Plan (opens new window) setting out its plans for suppressing the virus, protecting the NHS and the vulnerable, keeping education and the economy going and providing a route back to normality. It also outlines the Government’s approach to ending the national restrictions on 2 December, including the expansion of testing arrangements with reference to ‘high risk’ extra care housing and supported living residents (weekly) and staff (twice weekly) from December (see figure 3 from the plan, below).
