A new House of Lords Adult Social Care Committee has launched an inquiry and published a call which seeks evidence of the ‘invisibility’ of adult social care, in particular “lifting the veil” on the impact for people with care needs and carers.

Last year, as part of the Good Home Inquiry, the Centre for Ageing Better carried out extensive research to try and find workable, realistic solutions to improve the millions of poor-quality homes in England. The Centre for Ageing Better are now working to pilot this in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council. If you're working locally to address the issue of poor-quality homes, they'd love to hear more about how you deliver home improvement services in your area.

The Housing LIN has been invited to join two influential groups to help connect the digital dots across housing, health and social care. They are the Digital Social Care Advisory Group and the newly formed TEC Action Alliance, co-hosted by TLAP and the TSA.  We look forward to reporting on their progress.
