Workshop: Herefordshire Supported Housing Needs Assessment: Older people

As part of this project, we are inviting housing and support providers to share their views on the types of supporting housing that are needed for in Herefordshire.

This online workshop will focus on the supported housing needs of older people, who may or may not be eligible for adult social care support. We are particularly interested discussing the need for:

• Retirement/sheltered housing
• Extra care housing
• Care homes (nursing and residential)

• Introductions
• Trends in the characteristics of the older population
• Current supply of older persons accommodation and suitability to meet current and future needs
• Qualitative evidence on the need and demand for in older persons housing in Herefordshire
• Qualitative evidence on any geographic gaps

Please note, we are holding separate sessions that you may wish to join that can be seen below:

• People with a learning disability and/or autistic people
• People with mental health needs
• People with experience of homelessness

This workshop will be held online via teams, a teams invite will be sent to participants once they have booked onto the event.
