Overview

Coinciding with Co-production Week 2026 (29 June-3 July), this HAPPI Hour webinar explored community-led housing for older people, focusing on how developments can be shaped and delivered with communities at the heart of the design process.

It highlights practical approaches to co-design that bring together residents, practitioners and design professionals to create inclusive, adaptable and supportive living environments.

We share insights from community housing support initiatives, perspectives from cohousing experts, and architectural thinking on designing age-friendly, sustainable neighbourhoods.
