Property damage and access to funding
Can anyone advise of any grants/funding streams to complete repairs and further adaptations to a property for someone who is causing consistent property damage due to their sensory needs & learning disability?

You may already have explored the usual OT/adaptations and housing funding routes internally. One option may be to frame any request around disability-related, sensory-informed preventative adaptations, rather than the cost of repeated repairs alone. It would be interesting to hear whether others have secured funding for robust adaptations in similar circumstances, particularly where this has reduced recurring damage and improved the person’s wellbeing and safety.
