Dementia

Over a third of people (around 35%) of people with dementia, according to Alzheimer’s Society, have said they have felt lonely recently. Age UK have identified that 38% of people with dementia have said they’ve lost friends after their diagnosis – with many of the friends of people with dementia moving to new neighbourhoods, sheltered accommodation, or care homes as they grow older.
