Getting started using SHOP@

Overview

Select the authority that you are interested in from the list in the drop down box.

You will then need to select the area you are interested in. This could be the same as the local authority for single-tier authorities or for two-tier authorities it will show the county first and then list the districts / boroughs that fall within the county council underneath.

The data tables will automatically refresh based on the selection that has been made. Tables that will be refreshed include

• Current needs, 2012
• Estimated future needs from 2012 - 2030
• Older people living alone
• Tenure of older people

Once you have saved or printed off your results, the pages will reset to the default settings from More Choice, Greater Voice: A toolkit for producing a strategy for accommodation with care for older people ( CSIP, 2008).
