  Norman Lamb, the new Minister of State for Care Services - speaking at the Liberal Democrat conference this week - has reaffirmed the government's commitment to funding specialist housing and also announced up to an extra £100m capital to the £200m already allocated over 5 years. He stated that the £300m fund will now result in thousands of new homes.
