Director at Pozzoni Architecture, Nigel Saunders, has extensive expertise within the housing sector, designing schemes for all age groups. Nigel is passionate about creating residential communities and promotes neighbourhoods with balanced demographics which play a key role in delivering social benefits.
He has been one of the driving forces behind Pozzoni’s designs for a theoretical mixed use urban community, with housing for all ages alongside care, leisure, learning and other supporting facilities.
Nigel is also part of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s Ageing Hub ‘Housing & Planning and Ageing Group’ which aims to enhance the city region’s housing options for older people and has recently co-authored ‘A Design for Life: Urban practices for an age-friendly city.’
