Laura Wood was Group Lead for PR and Communications at North Star Housing Group when she joined colleagues from across the housing sector to form Invisible Creations®.
The idea for Invisible Creations® emerged from the National Housing Federation’s ‘Creating our Future’ Programme in 2018. The award-winning innovation programme provides a platform for housing associations to collaborate on a sector-wide scale to tackle housing’s biggest social challenges.
Here, Laura was seconded for 16 weeks to join a project team as part of the initiative and came up with the idea for Invisible Creations®
Invisible Creations® is a business start-up that aims to design products that don’t define us by our age. Invisible Creations® started life in the National Housing Federation’s Greenhouse Programme in 2018 and Laura has continued to develop the idea with the support of Anchor Hanover, Karbon Homes and Johnnie Johnson Housing.
