Claire has 25 years' experience in housing, specialising in housing strategy and partnerships.

She is Head of Housing Strategy & Development at Luton Council, with a focus on affordable housing delivery and strategic links to health, economic development and regeneration.

Previously she worked across the East of England with the National Housing Federation, during which time she was national stakeholder lead for local government, social care and health.

Her analysis of 40 years of housing policy as evidenced in The Archers was published in the Academic Archers collection  Feudalism & Flapjacks, in 2021.
