Trafford Housing Trust is profit for purpose housing association which manages over 9,000 properties In Trafford and the North West. As a profit-for-purpose organisation, the Trust invests all profits back into developing new homes, including social and affordable housing, and assisted living projects. The organisation also invests in projects to eradicate poverty and homelessness, and to strengthen communities.
In October 2019 the Trust was acquired by L&Q, one of the UK’s leading housing associations and developers. The acquisition is enabling the Trust to enhance its Quality Home Standard for its existing 9,000 homes in the North West, and supports a long-term ambition to create 20,000 new, affordable homes across the region in the next ten years.
