Produced by Ipsos in partnership with the Housing Learning and Improvement Network (LIN) with funding from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) – Available at: https://www.housinglin.org.uk/Topics/type/Older-Peoples-Housing-Preferences/ 01:10:09 mr27: It feels like the intersection of ASC and homelessness/housing duties might be quite defined/narrow in this. What happens to the rest of the people with housing needs? 01:17:10 Sally Razey | Housing LIN: As many of you begin developing or refreshing your supported housing needs assessments and 5-year plans, we wanted to highlight that the Housing LIN’s consultancy, research and advisory team is uniquely placed to support you undertaking supported and specialist housing needs analyses, developing evidence-based strategies and market position statements, and working alongside local authorities, providers and partners across the UK. If you’d like to explore how we can support your organisation, please get in touch at consultancy@housinglin.org.uk 01:17:25 Anna Hunter: We are a support provider and our biggest challenge is that commissioners will say they want a scheme however they cannot agree to the rents needed to make a scheme financially viable. When the housing provider meets with the housing benefit team we find that the rents are capped at a level which is too low for the investors. Is this something other people have found and if so, is there anything you can recommend? 01:17:59 Sally Razey | Housing LIN: Thank you for attending today’s HAPPI Hour webinar! The session recording and presentation slides will be available on this event’s webpage later this week. In the meantime, please do browse all forthcoming webinars at: https://www.housinglin.org.uk/Events/ForthcomingEvents/ 01:18:33 Denise Troughton - AF Norwich: Thanks very insightful ☺️
