Housing options for Older People with a Learning Disability

With advances in health care, people with a learning disability are living longer and wanting to access the full range of housing options as any other older person. Some may be looking to stay in their own home with the help of adaptations, support and assistive technology. Some may want to access extra care housing and others may be taking the opportunity to have more independence in where they live.

The Housing LIN is pleased to share its experience and insights working with NHS England and several local Transforming Care Partnerships to help develop their strategic housing partnerships and operational plans.
