Supported housing and independent living

"Valuing People" makes clear that people with a learning disability should be supported to live as independently as possible and have choice and control over their life, including where and who they live with. People with a learning disability are able to live in many different kinds of housing and can cope with a full range of tenures, including owning their own home. The resources here cover the range of options.
