Older People - housing provision

These pages contain resources related to types of care and support that enable older people to continue living in general housing. The resources are split into 2 groups, as follows:

• Telecare - telecare is technology used to remotely monitor individual circumstances and needs. Older people are the largest group benefitting from telecare but the technology is used for other vulnerable groups. There are other pages on this website that contain greater detail about telecare, including how it may apply to other groups of service users.
• Support services - information about services such as floating support and advocacy that can assist people living in general housing as well as more sheltered housing.
