The design of buildings and their surrounding are central to achieving good outcomes for individual users and the wider community and environment. Following the launch of the Housing our Ageing Population: Panel for Innovation (HAPPI)
report, we have updated our the Design webpages on this site. The resources listed within the subtopics below offer guidance and examples of effective design principles and practice for the design of accommodation for older and vulnerable adults, including people with disabilities and long term conditions.
