Audience

The consultation event is for anyone representing or working in a council with an interest in supported housing or the impact policy changes in this area will have on their residents and council-led activity.

Aims

This policy area has the potential to affect a cross-cutting range of council services, in upper and lower tier councils as well as unitary councils.

You will learn more about Government proposals on the future funding of supported housing, building on the information in the Government's consultation.

You will have the opportunity to represent your views on the proposals, their risks, opportunities, and how you think they will affect your council; with Government officials working on the policy, as well as with other councils and the LGA.

You will learn more about what changes may occur, and what they may mean for your council, your supported housing providers, and your residents.

You will have the opportunity to inform and influence the LGA's position and response to the Government's consultation on funding for supported housing (closes 13th February)
